Sesshin famille aout 2026

Family sesshin

21–23 August 2026

That weekend, the doors of the Dragon Temple will be wide open to the children of the Sangha. They will have the opportunity to bring all their curiosity and their happiness to be together in nature. The children will participate in activities specially designed for them. Younger children can also be welcomed, under the care of their parents.

For adults (practitioners or interested spouses), the retreat is run much like an ordinary sesshin with zazen and all group activities. The children take turns participating in small tasks during meals, samu, or by ringing the bell. During zazen, they are taken care of according to their age and the weather for awakening workshops. For example, the moss garden they created during a previous family retreat can still be admired along the path.
