SESSHIN JUKAÏ
This sesshin is open to everyone, both beginners and experienced practitioners.
It offers each person the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Sôtô Zen, experiencing an ancestral practice transmitted from master to disciple over the centuries, and which permeates every aspect of daily life.
Each day will include four sessions of zazen (seated meditation).
The remainder of the schedule will be structured around samu (voluntary participation in community tasks), silent meals, and participation in Jukai ceremonies (the reception of the Bodhisattva precepts).
Master Reigen Wang-Genh, the abbot of the monastery, will offer teachings on the foundations of Zen meditation and Sôtô Zen Buddhism.
There will be opportunities to ask him questions, either in individual interviews (dokusan) or during group discussions (mondō).
