RETREAT AND DAILY LIFE - GYOJI
Apart from intensive or themed retreats, it is possible to come to the temple at any time of the year to experience community life with Buddhist nuns and monks. Everyone is welcome, including beginners, for whom a special welcome is offered.
Here are the dates for the first half of 2025:

- Monday 3 to Thursday 13 February
- Monday 17 February to Thursday 13 March
- Monday 31 March to Thursday 3 April
- Monday 7 to Thursday 17 April
- Tuesday 22 (5pm) to Sunday 27 April
- Monday 19 to Friday 23 May
- Monday 2 to Thursday 12 June
As a reminder, arrival is on Monday at 5pm (shuttle bus at Ingwiller station at 5pm if necessary) and departure is on the last day at around 2pm.
THE PROGRAMME
During these Daily Life - Gyoji retreats, the days include :
- two zazen sessions a day, in the morning and evening
- rituals and ceremonies
- meals eaten in silence and in the traditional way
- samu, voluntary work in the service of the community
