New Year's sesshin from December 29 to January 1
Join us in welcoming the New Year with a three-day sesshin and a spiritual night.
Each month Master Reigen Wang-Genh leads retreats of various lengths. The sesshins are open to all, beginners and advanced alike, and are an opportunity for everyone to dive into the heart of the zen Sôtô experiencing a practice passed down through the centuries permeating all aspects of daily life.
Master Wang-Genh gives teachings on different themes. There will be opportunities to ask him questions in individual talks - dokusan - or in assembly - mondo. It is also possible to ask him questions by email which he will answer during the mondo.
The sesshin will end with a spiritual night: zazen 25 minutes, kinhin 10 minutes, zazen 25 minutes etc. until midnight, followed by a New Year drink.
The sesshin will take place from December 29 to January 1. Arrival on Tuesday December 28 at 5pm.The first zazen of the new year will take place on January 1 after breakfast. Departure after lunch and cleaning of the rooms (around 3 pm).
