Sesshin with the family - meditation retreat from 23 to 25 August

-

That weekend, the doors of the Dragon Temple will be wide open to the children of the Sangha. They'll come with their inquisitive minds and be able to share in the joy of being together in nature. The children will take part in activities specially designed for them. Younger children can also be welcomed, under the supervision of their parents.

For adults (practitioners or interested spouses), the retreat takes place in much the same way as an ordinary sesshin, with zazen and all the group activities. The children take it in turns to participate in small tasks during meals, samou, or by ringing the bell.

During zazen, they are looked after according to their age and the weather for awareness-raising workshops. For example, along the way you can still admire the moss garden they created during a previous family retreat.
