Commemoration of the death of Master Deshimaru at La Gendronnière

Last week, many members of the Ryumonji Sangha went to the mother temple of La Gendronnière (near Blois) to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Master Deshimaru's death.

The week's programme included a general assembly of the International Zen Association (AZI-founded by Master Deshimaru), a day of zazen, commemorative ceremonies and testimonies from former disciples.

During this week, many former disciples came to testify about their practice. These testimonies were broadcast live on the International Zen Association's Youtube channel.
