Jukai

Last Saturday and Sunday the Jukai (receiving the precepts and taking refuge) ceremonies took place. The future Kaite (people who receive the precepts) spent a week at the temple between sewing, teachings and samu (voluntary activity for the community)

The Jukai ceremony is always a very emotional moment in the life of a Soto Zen practitioner.
