The Zen Online program

The meditation sessions are organised in one of two ways : 

  • One period of zazen - 45 minutes
  • Two periods : 30 minutes, 10 minutes kinhin - walking meditation, 25 minutes zazen followed by a ceremony. Which of these is used is not arranged in advance.

The autumn retreat begins Sunday morning and will consist of two parts : preparation (Sunday to Tuesday - 3 zazen per day), followed by the Sesshin (Thursday to Sunday - 4 zazen per day). You will find the zazen schedules on this page.

17h30 - 18h45 Zazen et mondo - questions-answers with the master
20h30 - 21h45 Zazen - seated meditation, with teaching by Master Wang-Genh. Evening ceremony and symbolic offering of the day for the wellness of all sentient beings.

The sutras to follow the chants are here : You will find on this page the texts of the ceremonies we sing during the day. The sutras change every day. We also recite the list of patriarchs every morning.

Tuesday 6:30 a.m. - Zazen + Kin-hin + teaching followed by a ceremony 18:15 Zazen + Mondo 
Wednesday 6:30 a.m. - Zazen + Kin-hin + teaching followed by a ceremony 18:15 Zazen + Mondo 
Thursday 6:30 a.m. - Zazen + Kin-hin + teaching followed by a ceremony 18:15 Zazen + Mondo 
Friday 6:30 a.m. - Zazen + Kin-hin + teaching followed by a ceremony 18:15 Zazen + Mondo
